International Arbitration Juniors

International Arbitration Juniors (“IAJ”) is an initiative created in 2021 aiming to address practical issues and challenges faced by prospective and junior arbitration practitioners associated with entering into the profession and building and developing their careers. It is a networking platform with projects designed to facilitate vital information flow and practical advice exchange between peers. IAJ’s mission is to facilitate access to the profession in a fair way and open the market to more diversity. Their current projects include IAJ Talks – peer discussions on interesting career development related topics, occasionally featuring guests, and monthly Spotlight On interviews featuring interesting individuals and initiatives. In July 2021, PBA’s president, Alexis Choquet, and the Chief Editor of the Biberon, Nicole Knebel, were invited by IAJ to chat about the PBA’s work, while highlighting the importance of such initiatives for young lawyers and law students.
